In this 4-hour workshop, you’ll explore the dynamic beauty of flowing water as you learn to paint a realistic waterfall in watercolour. This class focuses on capturing the movement of the water as it cascades over a textured rocky incline, using techniques that highlight both detail and atmosphere.

Throughout the session, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the painting process with clear demonstrations and practical instruction. We’ll cover key watercolour techniques such as:
• Wet-in-wet methods for a natural, flowing effect
• Creating texture and depth with energetic, but controlled brushwork
• Tonal values and colour choices to bring an organic, earthy feel

Whether you’re new to watercolour or looking to deepen your skills, this class offers a relaxed, supportive environment with time for questions, individual feedback, and encouragement along the way. By the end, you’ll have a finished piece and a deeper understanding of how to depict water in motion with confidence and creativity.
