Want to be an artist, but the best you can draw is a stick figure?
It’s been my experience that the strongest artists craft with their eye rather than their hand. So how does one see?
Over 4 weekly sessions, you’ll learn the 6 principles of composition—Scale, Emphasis, Space, Balance, Repetition, and Movement—to sharpen your visual awareness and understand the scaffolding behind every strong artwork. Along the way, you’ll also learn how to compose and draw simple figures, using stick figures as a tool to explore gesture, proportion, and placement within a scene.
No advanced drawing skills required—just your curiosity, your imagination, and a pencil.
