Donna Hockey is a Toowoomba based realist charcoal artist portraying the essence of rural life. She has been drawing in charcoal for approximately 9 years and is starting to venture into coloured pencils and pastels as she would love to bring some colour to her art work.
Charcoal drawing has enabled her to find a voice with which to express her love for rural life. In 2016 she had a joint exhibition with Kathy Ellem called Sliding doors at the Surat on Balonne Gallery, Surat and felt it was one of her career highlights.
