The Event Calendar

How to Add Events & Sell Tickets on Pop'd Art Hub

This step by step tutorial walks you through exactly how to add your art events to the Pop'd Art Hub Events Calendar. You need to have a paid Directory plan to add events. You will need a Paypal account to receive payments from the ticket sales

How to Sell Tickets to your Event

  1. Visit your Event Listing. To find your Events go to Your Profile and click on the event image to go to the Live Event.
  2. Click "Sell Tickets"
  3. Add your Ticket Name, Price and Quantity (you can add multiple tickets)
  4. Click "Save Ticket"
  5. You will now see "Ticket Management" button which is where you can edit tickets, see sales, reports and scanner
  6. To download ticket sales, click into the sales tabs, right click over the area and print to pdf
Sell Event Tickets

How to withdraw Ticket Sales

  1. Go to your account page
  2. Scroll to bottom where it says "Your Wallet"
  3. Click Withdraw
  4. Enter the amount
  5. Enter your Paypal Email
  6. Click withdraw
  7. This will then be reviewed and payment made after the event has completed

Image sizes for Pop'd Art Hub

Any image you upload to the Pop'd Art Hub needs to be less then 2MB. These images will then be further resized and compressed below 400KB to the make sure the website loads fast. We prefer images to be less then 500KB but we understand that resizing and compressing images can be tricky, so we have increased the maximum upload size to 2MB. Please see guides below and the further button link on how to digitise, resize and compress your images to get them below 2MB.

How to Resize and Compress images in Adobe Express

  1. Go to Adobe express image resizer
  2. Upload image
  3. Keep "Aspect Ratio" Custom
  4. Enter 2000 and make sure locked symbol is locked to keep the aspect ratio that exact as your image
  5. Crop image by draging corners
  6. Reduce Quality to 90% or until you get image below 2MB. Optimal size for website image is below 500KB.
  7. Download file
  8. You can then compress the image using tools like Tinypng.com, Shortpixel or FreeConvert Image Compressor

How to Resize and Compress images in Canva

  1. Go to Canva
  2. Upload image
  3. Choose Custom size
  4. Make sure locked symbol is locked to keep the aspect ratio that exact as your image
  5. Enter 2000 in width 
  6. Click "create new design"
  7. It will open in a canvas area
  8. Click Share button top right
  9. Click Download
  10. Choose JPEG file format
  11. Reduce Quality to 90%
  12. Download file
  13. You can then compress the image using tools like Tinypng.com, Shortpixel or FreeConvert Image Compressor
