Judi Neumann is a Highfields based photographer specializing in creative art photography.

Her work is defined by a love for colour, light, shape, and form, elements that she explores through an abstract lens. Judi’s artistic vision invites viewers to engage with her images on a deeper level, encouraging them to “see life through the viewfinder.” Rather than focusing on traditional representations, she uses photography to explore the inherent beauty and tranquility of nature, capturing fleeting moments of light and intricate shapes that others might overlook.

Through her self-taught approach, Judi has cultivated a distinctive style that combines technical skill with creative intuition. Her camera becomes more than just a tool—it is her “paint brush,” allowing her to express the emotions and stories that live within her. Photography, for Judi, is not just about taking pictures; it’s about inviting viewers into her world and giving them the opportunity to find their own story within each image. She wants her audience to “feel” what she is conveying, experiencing the wonder and serenity she sees in every scene.

Her artistic practice demonstrates not only a mastery of her craft but also a deep understanding of the emotional impact that photography can have on an audience. As an emerging artist, Judi continues to evolve and push her boundaries, and her work offers a refreshing perspective that is sure to resonate with many. Her self-expression through photography has the power to inspire others to slow down, observe the world around them, and appreciate the beauty in both the small and grand moments of life.

Judi has exhibited and won numerous photographic awards in local, State, Australian and international exhibitions and competitions.
