My art examines cross-cultural identity through time, memory, and inherited stories. Weaving is at the core of my practice, serving as both a physical process and an ancestral link that connects ancient traditions with contemporary expression. Working with paper string, natural fibers, copper, clay, acrylic, and ink, I explore form, light, and space to map belonging and trace the personal histories that shape my sense of self and place.
I have exhibited in galleries across Australia including Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Cairns, as well as at the Toowoomba Regional Gallery, the University of Southern Queensland, the Toowoomba Gallery and the Write Gallery. Awards include the Local Excellence Award at the University of Southern Queensland’s Biennial Art Exhibition in 2024, and the Macquarie Emerging Artist Prize, the Fairholme Open Art Prize, and Highly Commended First Nations Art at the Queensland Regional Art Awards in 2025. I have work touring regional Queensland during 2026 with Flying Arts Alliance. My work is also held in private collections throughout Australia and currently have a major solo exhibition at the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba from June 9- July 17 2026.
