Nury Barros is an alcohol ink artist and workshop facilitator based in the Lockyer Valley, Queensland. Her vibrant, expressive work explores healing, growth and the freedom that comes from allowing creativity to flow.

Creativity has always been part of Nury’s life, but it wasn’t until she first experienced alcohol ink in someone’s garage that she felt she had finally found her medium. She was hooked. The movement, unpredictability and freedom of alcohol ink allowed her to create in a way that felt completely natural.

Nury believes we are all innately creative beings. Creating with alcohol ink and sharing that experience with others through her workshops is what makes her feel fully alive.

Teaching is now an important part of her creative practice. Her relaxed, supportive workshops encourage people to experiment, let go of perfection and discover what can happen when they give themselves permission to create.

Flow. Grow. Let Go.
